The Mucki-Trail is the natural mountain bike singletrack on the Muckenkogel, starting directly from the chairlift top station. Six varied sections lead from the family-friendly Almtrail to the technical Karlstein. An ideal place to build skills and confidence step by step.

⚠ From the Sutte section onwards, the trail is intended for more experienced riders. If you're unsure, you can leave the trail at the Lilienfelder Hütte and safely descend to the valley via the forest road.

Singletrail scale

S1 — easy
Small obstacles such as shallow roots, rocks or water bars. A little attention is all that's needed.
S2 — moderate
Larger roots and rocks, steps and tighter corners. Controlled braking and proper weight transfer are important.
S3 — difficult
High steps, switchbacks and off-camber sections. Solid riding skills and experience required.

We are guests in the forest — and we intend to keep it that way. These six rules help protect the trails, nature and the positive relationship with hikers, foresters and hunters.

  • Ride only on marked routes and only during the permitted opening hours:
    • • March / October: 09:00 – 17:00
    • • April / September: 08:00 – 18:00
    • • May – August: 07:00 – 19:00
    • • November – February: 09:00 – 16:00
  • Follow local traffic regulations and pass hikers and horse riders only at walking speed.
  • We are guests in the forest and treat forestry and hunting personnel with respect.
  • Leave nature as you would like to find it — clean and litter-free.
  • Riding outside designated routes or permitted opening hours is not allowed.
  • In snowy conditions there is no snow clearance or gritting — ride at your own risk.
